Tuesday 24nd January 2012 Longer cycle ride from Pontefract Squash Club 1pm start, rides are between 10 and 20 miles, mainly on quiet roads and some off road paths.

Saturday 28th January 2012 Cycle Ride from Anglers Car Park 10.00am start, rides are for people of all ages and abilities. They last approximately 2 hours, cycling on traffic free routes and some quiet roads.

Sunday 5th February 2012 Cycle Ride from Pugneys Country Park, Meet 10.15am for 10.30am start rides are for people of all ages and abilities. They last approximately 2 hours, cycling on traffic free routes and some quiet roads. A limited number of loan bikes are available to borrow for this ride. Cycle Maintenance Day.

Wakefield District Cycle Forum is running two of Bike Maintenance training events in the coming months.

Where: Anglers Country Park When: 10am until 1pm on Saturday 25 February 2012

Where: Pugneys Country Park When: 10am until 1pm on Sunday 25 March 2012

Bike Doctor

Wakefield District Cycle Forum is running a Bike Doctor event where you can have a

health check for your bike and get it ready for the summer.

Free bicycle safety & health check
Dust off your bike and bring it along to one of the events where the bike doctor is advertised and he will give it a checkover and you will be ready for the summer cycle rides

Cycle Skills Course >>

Practise your cycling skills
Open to all ages. If your feel like a challenge come along to one of the events where the cycle skillscourse is advertised and have a go. Bringyour own bike or borrow one of ours

Health Rides >>

Guided rides for all abilities
The Health Rides are for all ages and abilities. They last approximately one hour, cycling a distance of between 5-10 miles on traffic free routes and some quiet roads.

Bicycles to borrow >>

There are a limited number of bicycles available to borrow for the Health rides at Pugneys and Nostell. There is no charge but these bikes need to booked in advance.
